Food plays a vital role not only in physical health but also in spiritual and moral life. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that the Sunnah contains many beneficial and wise rules related to food that are relevant and useful even in the modern world. The first part of the article is devoted to the dietary traditions observed by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). These include actions such as washing hands before eating, pronouncing the name of Allah, using the right hand, moderation in eating, and expressing gratitude after eating. These simple yet profound actions carry educational and spiritual power. The main section examines the ethical aspects of the Sunnah in nutrition. Through food, a person learns modesty, gratitude, respect for others, and the blessings of Allah. Observing what is permitted (halal) and avoiding what is forbidden (haram) strengthens spiritual purity and consciousness. In conclusion, the health benefits of observing these Sunnahs are summarized. Medical research confirms that moderation in eating, gratitude, and a healthy attitude toward food have a positive impact on a person’s physical and psychological well-being. Therefore, Sunnah-based eating is not just a religious practice, but a comprehensive system for moral, social, and physical well-being.

Keywords: Sunnah, nutrition; Islamic ethics; Prophet Muhammad; hadith; halal; food; moderation; gratitude; Islamic tradition; health; spirituality; eating habits

Khaidarova Fazolat Urgut, Uzbekistan E-mail: mardiya9296@gmail.com Abstract.
