This paper explores reading as a powerful tool for the personal, intellectual, and emotional development of young people aged 16 to 25. We view reading not only as a means of acquiring knowledge but also as a source of inner strength, motivation, and inspiration, helping them overcome life&#8217;s challenges, develop creativity, and find new ideas for self-fulfillment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The article draws on a theoretical analysis of the psychological and social aspects of reading, emphasizing its role in shaping worldviews, values, and emotional resilience. Particular attention is paid to comparing traditional reading (paper books) with modern digital formats such as e-books, book blogs, and platforms. Through surveys, interviews with young people, and analysis of popular literary works, we examine how reading contributes to the development of critical thinking, self-confidence, and professional skills.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the findings, the article offers practical recommendations for educational institutions, parents, and the public on promoting reading. This includes creating book clubs, integrating reading into the curriculum, and using digital platforms to engage young people. The study&#8217;s findings confirm that reading remains an indispensable tool for strengthening character, stimulating creativity, and supporting emotional well-being.
