It has now been established that daily habits and lifestyle are among the factors that influence the development of persistent epigenetic changes. The main mechanisms of such modifications include DNA methylation, histone rearrangements, and gene regulation by non-coding RNAs. These processes play a key role in the development and subsequent progression of numerous diseases, including cancer, metabolic, neuropsychiatric, and autoimmune diseases. Epigenetic changes, according to current data, can not only result from everyday actions but also be passed on from parents to subsequent generations, forming the concept of epigenetic memory. This paper examines in detail the mechanisms of epigenetic regulation, the influence of lifestyle factors on the epigenome, and the potential applications of epigenetics in disease prevention and treatment. Based on an analysis of modern research, it has been established that the influence of the environment on human genetic activity is significantly greater than previously thought, which opens up new possibilities in medicine and public health.

Keywords: epigenetics; genome; modification; cading; methylation

Asadova Zarrina Farkhodovna Samarkand, Uzbekistan E-mail: Asadovaaa83@gmail.com Abstract.
