{"id":277,"date":"2026-04-26T01:07:55","date_gmt":"2026-04-25T22:07:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eahjournal.ru\/en\/?p=277"},"modified":"2026-04-26T01:09:28","modified_gmt":"2026-04-25T22:09:28","slug":"01eah126","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eahjournal.ru\/en\/01eah126.html","title":{"rendered":"Physical education and mass sports in the prevention of deviant behavior in youth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Lyapunov Danila Sergeevich<\/strong><br \/>\nMoscow, Russia<br \/>\nE-mail: Lyapunov.danila@gmail.com<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Peredelsky Alexey Anatolievich<\/strong><br \/>\nRussian State Social University, Moscow, Russia<br \/>\nE-mail: PeredelskiiAA@rgsu.net<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Novikov Alexey Viktorovich<\/strong><br \/>\nRussian State Social University, Moscow, Russia<br \/>\nE-mail: noval2403@mail.ru<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> The scientific problem is multidisciplinary and, therefore, often overly generalized, abstract, and contradictory, in developing the concepts of \u00abdeviation\u00bb, \u00abdeviant activity\u00bb, and \u00abprevention of deviant activity\u00bb, particularly as they apply to physical education and sports.<br \/>\nThe relevance of this study lies in the need to identify patterns and specific understandings of the place and role of physical education and mass sports in the prevention of deviant behavior in youth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The purpose of this study is to conduct a sociological analysis of the place and role of physical education and mass sports in the prevention of deviant behavior in youth, as assessed by a broad audience of youth and expert representatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scientific hypothesis consists of a preliminary, scientifically substantiated assumption that physical education and sports, in the opinions and actions of numerous youth representatives and experts, occupy a significant place and play a significant role in the prevention of deviant behavior in youth. The organization and methods of the study are determined by the consistent application of a quantitative sociological method of online surveying in the form of questionnaires and a qualitative sociological method of expert assessment in the form of in-depth interviews.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Conclusions:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The results of the study indicate that sport (more precisely, physical education and mass sports) functions as a kind of \u00absocial deterrent\u00bb in the sense that it provides young people with an alternative to antisocial activity and strengthens social ties.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The results of the study allow us to confirm the effectiveness of mass physical education and sports activities as a component of the system for preventing deviant behavior among young people.
