Communication initiatives of women in the Eurasian space: from solidarity networks to strategic influence

Abstract. The relevance of the study is determined by the growing role of horizontal women’s networks in socio-economic and humanitarian integration across the Eurasian space. In the context of fragmentation of traditional mechanisms of international cooperation, women’s communication initiatives act as an effective tool of public diplomacy and «soft power». The purpose of the article is to identify and systematize the key forms, mechanisms and outcomes of women’s communication initiatives in Eurasian countries, as well as to determine the role of scientific periodicals in their institutionalization. The object of the study is women’s communication initiatives implemented in the format of associations, educational programs and digital networks in Eurasia (including Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and other EAEU states). The subject is organizational models, mentoring tools and cross-border interaction, as well as ways of their scientific understanding and replication. The result consists in systematizing three types of initiatives (institutional networks, educational lifts, digital platforms) and proving their contribution to regional integration. The conclusion substantiates that the sustainable development of women’s communications is impossible without specialized scientific channels — peer-reviewed open access journals that ensure the verification of practices and their transformation into reproducible models.
