National values as the basis of the spiritual immunity of youth in the context of digital globalization

Abstract. The article is devoted to the role of national values in shaping the spiritual immunity of Uzbekistan’s youth in the context of digitalization. Based on an analysis of theoretical approaches and empirical data obtained through sociological research, the high significance of family values (94,2 %) and patriotism (82,1 %) has been revealed. A correlation has been established between knowledge of the historical and cultural heritage and the level of civic identity. The ambiguous role of the information environment has been identified: despite high digital activity, the share of educational content in the Uzbek language accounts for only a quarter and poses a threat to value orientations. The effectiveness of the combined approach (gamification + storytelling), which enhances learning outcomes, has been proven. Recommendations have been developed to strengthen the spiritual immunity of young people.
The author concludes that national values are a dynamic system of cultural, moral, and historical reference points that form the foundation of national identity. At the same time, the concept of «spiritual immunity» serves as a tool to protect an individual’s value orientations from destructive informational influences.
It is particularly emphasized that the fundamental national values of the Uzbek people include respect for elders and family traditions, love for the native language and literary heritage, patriotism and civic consciousness, diligence and hospitality, as well as religious tolerance.
