Abstract. Science is the heart of progress, which sets the direction for the development of humanity in the era of global challenges. The first part of the article reveals how science is changing our world. Science drives technological breakthroughs — from artificial intelligence to green energy and biotechnology, solves global problems such as the climate crisis and pandemics, revolutionizes medicine, making life better and longer. Science teaches us to think critically, forming a worldview, science fills the space from philosophy to art, weaving them into a single canvas of knowledge.

The second part is devoted to how science works today. Open knowledge and digital platforms make research accessible to everyone, and the popularization of science helps people understand complex ideas and trust scientists, and international cooperation and new approaches accelerate progress.

The third part contains a forecast for the future of science. It offers a path to a sustainable world through green technologies and a circular economy, but it faces challenges: digital inequality, ethical dilemmas and the need to regain public trust. In short, science is not only about discoveries, but also about hope for a better future that unites us. It can lead to a fair and green future, but only if scientists and, above all, each of us, take a responsible attitude towards discoveries and scientific progress.
