Waste recycling as a global issue

Abstract. This article examines the environmental, economic, and social benefits of waste recycling. It emphasizes that recycling helps conserve natural resources, reduce energy consumption, and prevent environmental pollution. Recycling also contributes to the creation of new jobs, stimulates economic growth, and improves public health. The article provides examples of waste recycling in Uzbekistan, current challenges in this area, solutions, and proposals for waste recycling development. During data collection, scientific articles, industry reports, and statistical data on existing waste-to-energy technologies, their efficiency, economics, and environmental impact were analyzed, and recommendations for addressing issues in the area under study were proposed.
